Darina Alster je jako umělec známá především díky svým performance. Je to pro ni forma, do které dovede vtisknout, díky své přirozené teatrálnosti a nutkání řešit věci přímo, obřadnost, politizaci tématu a často i dávku humoru a ironie. V přímé interakci s publikem je motivována subjektivní téma převést na srozumitelnou řeč. V době přípravy na výstavu v galerii Sam83 se Darininým hlavním předmětem pozornosti stalo její vlastní těhotenství, které ve výsledku bylo hlavním motivem celé koncepce.

Darina Alster is wellknown thanks to her performances first of all. Performance is kind of art where she is able to express the theme in whole wide with aspect of politics, ritual and also with humor. In a direct interaction with a public she is obliged to transform her subjective feelings into clear language. Darina became pregnant during preparation of the exhibition and that fact influenced the issue.
